Reviews and Ratings
For our first-year wedding anniversary, the front room of the hotel was very spacious and well-appointed, ticking all the boxes. The staff appeared entirely unperturbed by the many maskless individuals, putting in considerable effort despite my poor night's sleep. The location is excellent with easy access to public transport and stunning views of Richmond Park and the Thames. The dining experience was very enjoyable, with high-quality food and attentive staff. The facilities were top-notch, making for a pleasant stay.
The hotel offers stunning, stylish, and very spacious rooms that are worth every penny, although it felt a bit cold even with the thermostat set to 28°C. The atmosphere inside was cozy and quiet, with plenty to watch on Sky TV. Service was very attentive, especially the cheerful breakfast staff; however, there were some instances of forgetfulness in fulfilling specific requests. The location boasts a lovely view across the park to the river and is ideal for a tranquil London experience, yet the space for check-in and check-out could be larger during busy times. The dining experience was excellent with plenty of choices and friendly staff. The facilities were top-notch, providing a fantastic stay overall.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were a little small but very nice, beautifully laid out, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially with my two young children. The cleanliness was impeccable.
The hotel offers a lovely view of Petersham meadows which is as advertised. The room, although ready after 3 pm, was okay but not fantastic. The service, including a quick response to a critical issue, was great and really helpful. The location is excellent for views, visiting Richmond Park, and walking into Richmond town. The dining experience was average with some room for improvement.
The hotel is perfectly situated atop Richmond hill, ideal for local exploring and just a short walk from the train station for easy access to London. The rooms are modern, clean, and well-equipped but could benefit from a slight upgrade to match the building's charm. The service, while friendly and accommodating, lacked some organizational skills during my stay. The dining experience offered a wide selection of continental and English options, but there was an extra charge for tray service. The location is excellent for visiting Richmond, Kew, and beyond, with lovely surroundings but with a minor downside of additional charges for some services.
The hotel offers fine rooms in a great location with good breakfast and clean amenities, although the rooms lacked natural light. The staff were friendly and helpful, managing situations professionally.
The hotel rooms were lovely with the right temperature, clean and comfortable bedding, and matched the pictures. However, the size felt a bit small, and the reception staff didn't give the warmest welcome during check-in.
My stay at the hotel was mixed. The rooms, although classy and spacious with a fantastic bed and shower, were less than ideal being in a cold, crowded basement with a view of the back car park. The service, however, was superb with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions, and the dining experience, while good, was a tad overpriced for the portions. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities were well-maintained and convenient.
